How much does WhatsApp charge per message in India?
Meta charges per message it delivers, by type, and bills the business that owns the number. These are Meta's rates for messages to Indian numbers, in rupees, from Meta's rate card effective 1 July 2026 and the card that takes over on 1 October 2026. Endelir adds nothing to them.

What is free on the WhatsApp Business API?
Three things cost nothing:
- Every message a customer sends you, always.
- Replies inside the 24-hour window that opens each time a customer writes — free until 30 September 2026, and from 1 October 2026 free for the first 1,000 a month on each business number.
- Everything you send while a free entry point window is open. It opens when you reply to someone who came from a click-to-WhatsApp ad or a Facebook Page button, and Meta says it can stay open for up to 7 days.
What you pay for is starting the conversation yourself: a template sent to someone who has not written in the last 24 hours.

Why Meta's charges are billed separately
Your WhatsApp number sits in your own Meta business account, and Meta bills that account for what it delivers. Some providers bill messages through their own rate card instead; ours is simply Meta's. It keeps the plan price the whole of what we charge, and you see Meta's invoice for yourself.

Questions about pricing
How much does the WhatsApp Business API cost in India?
Two parts. A software plan, which with Endelir is ₹1,499, ₹2,799 or ₹5,999 a month plus GST, and Meta's own per-message charges, which Meta bills to you directly. In India Meta charges ₹0.8631 for each marketing message and ₹0.115 for each utility or authentication message it delivers, and messages a customer sends you are free. From 1 October 2026 replies inside the 24-hour window cost ₹0.115 each after the first 1,000 a month on each business number.
Does Endelir add a margin to Meta's message charges?
No. Meta bills your business directly, at the rate on Meta's own rate card, and that money never passes through Endelir. What you pay us is the plan.
What changes on 1 October 2026?
Meta starts charging for replies inside the 24-hour customer-service window, which have been free since November 2024. Each business phone number gets 1,000 free replies a month; after that each one costs the utility rate, ₹0.115 in India. Utility templates sent inside the window, free since July 2025, are charged at the same rate. Conversations that start from a click-to-WhatsApp ad stay free while Meta's free entry point window is open.

Which plan includes the AI teammate?
Growth and Scale. It answers first, from your own documents, price list and policies, and steps aside the moment someone on your team replies. It runs on Endelir's AI connection, up to 5,000 AI calls in any 30 days, or on your own AI provider's key with no cap from us. Starter has keyword replies and chat flows but not the AI teammate.
Is GST included in the price?
No. GST at 18% is added to the plan price, as on any software subscription in India. If you are GST registered, you can claim it back.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. A year costs ten months: ₹14,990 for Starter, ₹27,990 for Growth and ₹59,990 for Scale, plus GST.
